La Fondation wins Best CSR Project award in Education and Skill Development Category from Indo French Chamber of Commerce and Industries (IFCCI) during CSR conclave organized by IFCCI on 21st November 2019.
IFCCI conferred this award to La Fondation in India in recognition of our contribution to Education and Skill Development domain. La Fondation won this award amongst 66 nominations received by IFCCI from French companies in India for their contributions for CSR activities.
We presented our project “Knowledge on Wheels – Farmers Experience Zone” for farmer’s education to improve their livelihood. La Fondation is supporting this project which is executed by our implementation partner Centurion University of Technology and Management, Bhubaneswar-Odisha.
Objective of this program is to skill and help small farmers who are at the mercy of vagaries of nature and are distressed, who struggle for their survival; on advanced agriculture; to train them on cost effective agri-cultural techniques which could be adopted by small farmers which will help them to improve their livelihood opportunities.
The program is executed with a tag line “Delivering Dream at Destination” and takes ‘technology enabled learning’ through a well-equipped bus to the farmers ‘at their door step’ for the farmers in villages who do not have access to formal education or the ability to attend courses in University campus.
This project is in alignment with Government of India’s mission to double the farmers’ income by 2022. Through this project La Fondation is equipping the farmers with necessary skills to adopt new agri-technologies towards this objective. For more details about the project refer Link
This is the second award La Fondation has received globally, endorsing our vision for developing sustainable universe through the way we learn and discover. The first one was: The Franco-British Business Awards – CSR category in 2018; and now this one for La Fondation India from Indo French Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
