Webinar Series “To Guide Students to Select Meaningful Engineering Projects"

La Fondation Dassault Systemes-India has launched a webinar series for Engineering College Students to guide them for the projects they should select, which will help them to be “Industry Ready”.

Background

It is an opinion that many engineering students struggle to identify meaningful projects which will help them to deeply explore and apply their engineering skills in solving real industry oriented problem statements.

Many of the students and professors struggle to identify such project ideas on which students can work and which will help them to catch Industry attention.

In this context, La Fondation Dassault Systemes is launching webinar series by Industry experts to guide the students on identifying appropriate and meaningful projects to make them Industry Ready.

About the program

The webinar series “To Guide Students to Select Meaningful Engineering Projects” is organized to help Engineering students in deciding meaningful projects for their final year project work.

Purpose

Inviting Industry Experts to deliver sessions and guide our next generation with appropriate project ideas which will help them to be “Industry Ready” and through it, it will help them to catch industry attention for future employability

Aim

Through Industry participation, work together for addressing employability and talent readiness challenges the ‘Industry and academia eco system’ is facing.

Plan

90 minutes sessions from Industry experts from various industry verticals and domains (45 minutes speakers session; and 30 minutes Q&A, 15 minutes for introduction at the start and wrap-up at the end)

Series of 10 to 12 sessions (one session per week by different domain experts)

The Sessions start from 30th April 2020 and will be conducted every Thursday at 4:00 PM India time for next 10 to 12 weeks.

Intended Audience

Students and professors from Engineering colleges / universities; from core engineering streams

Engineering students in 2nd year or 3rd year of undergraduate program and from 1st year of Post-Graduation program

We are inviting students and professors from 250+ colleges to join these on-line sessions.

What will be covered by Industry Experts

The topics related to upcoming trends in specific industry vertical, domain, technologies

Domain skills & expertise, a fresh pass-out student is expected to acquire

 During the session, the speaker can suggest few topics, problem statements, project ideas which students can explore for their projects (Project ideas can be generic for the domain and may not be specific to that particular organization)

Few exercises and reference material related to topic covered in the session. Students are expected to work on these exercises while they are at home
